Wearing #49 for the University of Texas Longhorns, 6'2", 230-lb freshman Trey Wier realized the kind of moment that youth football players, parents, and coaches dream about. On Sunday, April 5, the former West Austin Pop Warner Corsair took the field for the traditional Orange and White game. it was a proud moment for everyone associated with our league. Trey is a living example that the experience gained as a young man playing on the Pop Warner fields of Central Texas can lead to great achievement. Way to go, Trey! And "Hook 'em Horns!"
