About our Coaches

Robert Easter :

Playing Days - Played a variety of youth sports. Started playing football with the Pop Warner program at the age of 9. He continued playing thru high school, college, and semi-pro, until an injury prevented him from further seasons.

Coaching Expierience - Coached football at many levels since 1991. He has coached Pop Warner football from the flag level thru the Jr. Midget level. Robert has also given a great deal of personal resources to organizing youth leagues, and currently serves as league president for West Austin.

Coaching Focus - Robert enjoys teaching and developing an understanding of the game of football.

Greg Scott :

Playing Days - Played basketball, football, soccer, and baseball.

Coaching Expierience - Both head and assistant coaching with youth sports leagues, in baseball, basketball, and football, beginning in 1999.

Coaching Focus - Kids can learn that one of the most rewarding types of fun is earned thru hard work with teammates. Learning how to build strength and endurance can be a positive impact on their health throughout their lives. Sports can also teach players, coaches, and parents, to never close the door on the possibility of something great happening.



Head Coach David Wier

Playing Days - Played Pop Warner football for 4 seasons in Austin. Played baseball and football at Crockett High School, as well as for Angelo State at the college level. Played American Legion baseball.

Coaching Experience - 15 years of coaching youth baseball and football. Hyde Park coach for baseball and football for 3 years.

Coaching Focus - Teaching the positive results of conditioning and learning the fundamentals of blocking and tackling. Good teammates make good friends on and off the field.



Head Coach Kenneth Osborn

Playing Days - Played football and baseball at the high school level.

Coaching Experience - Coached youth football for 8 years. Coached youth baseball for 10 years. Coached youth basketball for 10 years. Coached youth soccer for 2 years.

Coaching Focus - Learning the joy of playing football thru dedication, discipline and determination. Developing individual skills will prepare the players for success on the field. The team goal will be to achieve that success with dedication to doing each job as best as each player is capable of performing. Winning will be pursued as a team, but the most important reason kids play football is working together to improve their skills, and developing a love for the game that becomes a fun and important contribution to their teammates.
